Mini Sessions
Mini sessions are a lovely way to capture precious moments with your family in a relaxed, joyful setting - and I only offer them a few times each year around moments like End of Summer, Christmas and Mother’s Day. These short sessions are perfect if you want genuine, heartfelt photos without the commitment of a full shoot.
With limited spots available and dates that fill up fast, they’re a wonderful chance to make special memories together. Each session includes 8 carefully edited images for £125, thoughtfully delivered so you can hold onto these moments for years to come.

Cosy jumpers, cuddles, giggles and beautifully natural family photographs with just a hint of Christmas.
This year I’m offering a very limited number of Christmas Mini Sessions for families who would love some relaxed, seasonal photographs without the feel of a traditional studio Christmas shoot.
These sessions are perfect for updating your family photos, capturing the children as they are right now, or creating beautiful images for Christmas cards and gifts.

What to expect
These sessions are designed to be short, relaxed and easy.
We’ll spend around 20 minutes together amongst the trees, gently guiding things where needed but mostly letting your family interact naturally. There’s no pressure for everyone to stand perfectly still and smile at the camera.
Instead, expect:

My photography style is relaxed and documentary-led, so the aim is to create photographs that feel like your family rather than a formal Christmas photoshoot.

Where will the sessions take place?
The sessions will take place in the woods near Farnham. The exact location will be confirmed with booked families ahead of the session.
The setting will be kept deliberately natural and understated, with the trees doing most of the work. I won’t be creating a heavily styled Christmas set with lots of props or bright decorations.
Think:
natural winter family photographs with a soft festive feel.
Who are these sessions for?
Christmas minis are perfect for:
- families with young children
- siblings
- parents who would actually like to be in the photographs too
- couples
- families wanting images for Christmas cards
- grandparents joining the children
- returning clients who would like an updated family photograph
If your children are energetic, shy, unsure about photographs or unlikely to sit still for 20 minutes - that is absolutely fine. They don’t need to. Some of the loveliest photographs happen while they are simply exploring and being themselves.
What if my child doesn’t cooperate?
Please don’t worry.
Children do not need to sit still or smile on command for these sessions. We can walk, play, cuddle, explore the trees and let things unfold naturally.
I’ll gently guide you where needed and work around your child rather than expecting your child to work around the photographs.
That is very much how I photograph families normally.
When will I receive my photographs?
You’ll receive your private gallery within approximately 7–10 days of your session. You can then select the five photographs included in your package or choose to upgrade your gallery.
They will be delivered in plenty of time for Christmas cards and gifts.
What happens if it rains?
Because these sessions take place outdoors, I’ll keep a close eye on the forecast in the days leading up to the shoot. Sessions will usually still go ahead in cloudy weather or very light drizzle - both can actually create beautiful soft light.
If conditions are unsuitable due to persistent heavy rain, strong winds or unsafe weather, I’ll contact you and sessions will be moved to a backup arrangement/date.
How many sessions are available?
Very few.
I’m deliberately keeping these sessions limited so they don’t feel rushed or overly busy. Once the available time slots are booked, I may open a small number of additional sessions depending on demand and venue availability.
If you’d like one, I recommend booking early.
A little note from me
I love photographing families at this time of year.
There’s something about cosy layers, winter light and little people wandering amongst the trees that feels especially nostalgic.
These sessions are not about creating perfect Christmas-card poses.
They’re about capturing your family exactly as you are now - with a little festive magic around the edges.

When I should choose a mini session instead of full session?
f you love my style but don’t need the time, flexibility, or storytelling depth of a full session, a mini is a lovely, affordable option — especially as these sessions are only offered a few times each year.
How many final images can we expect to receive?
My mini sessions include 10 digital images for you to view and download in a secure online gallery.
How does the booking process work from start to finish?
Simply book your slot through my website (link above). I will send you the payment details which will secure your booked slot. You will receive the exact location prior to the day of the shoot.
Can we purchase additional images and upgrade to the full gallery?
Yes, you have the option to upgrade your gallery. This is usually priced individually depending on the total amount of images taken during your session.
